Manik Hasteer joined ARCHE Advisors in 2024, developing and delivering trainings for auditors and supporting operations management in the South and Southeast Asia region.

Manik has had a long and varied career in responsible sourcing. Beginning as a compliance auditor more than 20 years ago, Manik leveraged his extensive field experience to build, train, and manage teams of high-performing auditors in Sri Lanka and India on behalf of STR Responsible Sourcing and UL Verification Services. He conducted training for clients, vendors, and suppliers in addition to conducting supplier consultations and remediation programs. He has also previously acted as Senior Operations Manager for Bureau Veritas, India and Associate Director in South Asia for Elevate. Manik has worked extensively on specialized projects with homeworkers and cottage industries, bringing unique insights into diverse supply chain contexts. Manik is also an accomplished strategist, balancing operational efficiencies, team building, and financial achievement with advancing ethical business conduct.

Manik has an MBA from Apeejay School of Marketing in New Delhi and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Delhi University. As a compliance auditor, he led more than 1,000 audits across multiple countries and continents. Manik is a Certified Social Compliance Auditor (CSCA) through APSCA. He is certified in ISO standards 9001 and 14001, as well as SA 8000. He is fluent in Hindi, Punjabi, and English.
